When a hobby astronomer hears about the upcoming solar eclipse, she wants to see the natural event with her own eyes and decides to travel to an unknown place far from her home. While her roadtrip looks humble, a few minor events could shake up the whole journey.
The idea was to produce a silent black & white film driven solely by ambient sounds and music. I wanted to create a clear and honest depiction of studying our universe, aiming to provide the viewer with a realistic experience. That’s why I chose to film planets and moons using a telescope that is both affordable and accessible, while filming in public locations suitable for this purpose. The story focuses on the journey to witnessing the eclipse. I hope people are open to experiencing this film, where only images, sound, and music are given a voice.
